Lady Sooners Fought Hard But Fell Short in the Super Regional

They fought and fought but in the end it was the ladies from Arizona that were on top. The Lady Sooners battled to force a third game in Tucson on Saturday but fell 5-2 to Arizona in the Super Regional.
The Sooners won the first game of the doubleheader 2-0 to even the series and force the third game.
The 10th ranked Sooners ended the season 47-14 and finished 2nd in the Big 12 with a 16-2 record.
The Sooners will be a strong force next year only graduating 4 seniors.
